An interactive adventure show designed by Science Junkie and Scintillate. One of the first of its kind, this show gives the decisions to the audience as we attempt a self rescue in a survival situation. In this hour long show, we will get lost high in the mountains or deep in the desert. We’ll look at the natural environment around us as we make our own compasses using electromagnetism and the Earth’s magnetic field, make fire using the Earth’s natural sustainable resources and the principle of friction, and look at why humanity has a water shortage problem and how we can overcome it whilst looking for our own water source as we try to survive. Being caught out in the wind, eating bugs and taking an in depth look at outdoor clothing are just a few of the ideas we’ll look at in this exciting science show, and who knows, perhaps you will become a Survival Junkie!
