The Science Junkies really believe that an adventure should always have a purpose and one of the best reasons to go explore the world is to uncover or investigate some science!

We're arranging a string of adventures, trips and expeditions in partnership with a ton of cool people to a load of different places! We're looking at mini adventures in the UK, Arctic Adventures to Norway, and EPIC adventures to the other side of the world!

Arctic Astronomy takes people high into the Arctic for an introduction to the world of astronomy under the majesty of the northern lights. Accommodation in a traditional Norwegian Red House, cosmology, astrophotography, telescopes, snow shoeing and ski touring are all on the cards!

The Venus Transit Expedition is an 8 week Ed-venture to the West Pacific rim in April 2012. It is looking to inspire the next generation of scientists and explorers in a science expedition in the public eye. The group aims to carry out the expedition, view and record the Venus Transit and filter content back to class rooms, living rooms and many more venues across Britain.
