After a brilliant and successful 2012
Science Junkie is morphing into two different brands:
Daredevil Labs & Education Extreme.

What a year 2012 was for Science Junkie! Greg wrote us a great new live show about the Science of the Olympics & Paralympics which toured schools and festivals up and down the country playing to over 19,000 children & adults; early in the year saw the launch of Science Rocks - the science of rock climbing (with our friends at Boulders Climbing Centre); we developed and delivered a pop-up sports science exhibit for The Wellcome Trust (with the awesome Classroom Medics) that over 78,000 of you lot had a go on (we also went over to Bangkok National Science & Technology Fair too!); the original SJ Extreme Sports Show toured the UK, with Huw also taking it international to Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong too; plus our spectacular Extreme Sports Battle (with our friends at Andrei Burton Events) saw bikes flipping and free-runners leaping around MOSI for Manchester Science Festival.

Greg & Huw want to continue to build on these brilliant projects and they’ve decided that the best way to do that without pulling the brand in all directions at once is to morph Science Junkie into two new brands: Daredevil Labs & Education Extreme.

Science Junkie has grown massively since we started 2 years ago, and we want to thank you all so much for supporting us!

Daredevil Labs is all about using immersive stunts,
eye-catching spectacles, & hands-on demos to bring alive the science of sport, adventure & anything else cool.

Daredevil Labs is headed up by TV, Radio and Live Event Science Presenter Greg Foot.

Education Extreme is an adrenaline fueled mix of Education and Extreme Sports. Focusing solely on what we can learn from these amazing sports and the places they take us, Education Extreme will be offering big live interactive shows, talks, feature events and resources.

Education Extreme is headed up by Professional STEM Engager and Extreme Sports enthusiast Huw James, alongside his team of Ed-Ex Coaches.
